Phase III construction is underway
at Kaish & Taub Development's landmark residential project, 316 Bowery. Located on the southwest corner of
the Bowery and Bleecker Street, the 19th
century brick building features three full-floor,
state-of-the-art loft condominium homes.
First constructed in 1818 as a hotel, 316 Bowery has
been carefully restored to its original grandeur with
many modern elements. The 4-story building most recently
consisted of 3 large artists' lofts, which have been gut
renovated and converted to three spacious two-bedroom
homes totaling more than 1,700 square feet each. The
building's façade was carefully restored and all new 6-foot
windows will be installed, in adherence to precise
historical guidelines. The unique quality of this
building's renovation and restoration transcends the
original construction and design. |
